Artist Spotlight: Hot Lix
It’s no secret that there’s nothing like an ’80s Hair Band to liven up a party, and that is just what Hot Lix does. Ape Von Shreddings, the lead guitarist for Hot Lix says that the band came together just to play fun music. Eventually Hot Lix stopped playing for fun and started playing for an audience. Hot Lix is just a few years old, but in that time they have played in several major venues. “We’ve played in Little Rock and Saint Louis…our biggest draw is at George’s Majestic in Fayetteville said Mr. Shreddings.
Most recently, Hot Lix played to 1000’s at the Main Stage at Bikes, Blues & BBQ with another show planned November 19th at George’s Majestic. With only a few shows per year, fans of 80’s Rock anxiously await the next chance to relive their teens. If you like: Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Warrant, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Slaughter, Scorpions, Judas Priest, etc. …then You will LOVE Hot Lix.
