Aisle 24 is an eclectic folk band from Fayetteville, Arkansas. They are family. The two leads are siblings, and they crossed their styles to create one harmonious sound. Aisle 24‘s style is stemmed from their upbringing in a variety of musical cultures from choral to soft rock and even reggae. Because their music runs blood deep, they have a connection not only vocally, but emotionally, sometimes writing similar things around the same time. Alex Hampton joined the band. When he added percussion, he added a new element to the music and took Aisle 24 to a new level.
Gavin Carson, fit right in. His mandolin playing added that touch that the music needed to make the band whole. The band is just a lot of fun, and their lyrics provocative both emotionally and intellectually. Give them a listen. Give it a try. You might get hooked, and you just might cry.
Aisle 24‘s first cd, “Going Up” was released in January of 2012 and is a compilation of some of their earliest songs. The title track Going Up, was written by Jeremy and is a reminder that no matter where we end up in life, to always remember where we started, our foundation. Stay tuned for a new Album. Coming by the end of this year!
