Springdale Culture Festival Presented by Tyson Foods
The House of Songs has collaborated with local artists to bring exciting performances to The Jones Center auditorium. Emcee’s Papa Rap and Melisa Lehan of the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese will host the main stage with performances by Las Voces Divinas, Los Chinelos Morelenses Unidos en Arkansas, Dhirana from Dhirana Academy of Classical Dance, LatinX Theatre Project, Sam Lopez, Marshallese Dancers from the Nutrition & Zumba Club and We are Islander Pacific Arts and a capella group, Mark Harmony.
Local Springdale and NWA organizations such as the Marshallese Education Initiative, TASC, Trike Theatre, Amazeum, TheatreSquared, LatinX Theatre Project, The Springdale Chamber, Downtown Springdale Alliance, First Tee NWA, The University of Arkansas, HAAS Hall and Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub will be set up in the main hall at The Jones Center along with Camp War Eagle, who will also set up inflatables in the gym. Tyson Foods has graciously provided hot dogs for the event and there will be sampling of small bites from the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese and Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation available at no charge.
