Rachel Platten Confirmed For Walmart Community Concert

The Walmart Community Concert is held during the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G tournament week. The lineup of events this year will feature a full field LPGA golf tournament, a two-day food festival, a 5k race and a community concert.

Who: Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Rachel Platten is confirmed to be the featured artist for 2016’s Walmart Community Concert. Platten sparked her career with the inspirational “Fight Song” in 2015. This single has been declared a life-changing anthem that topped the charts and sold more than 2 million downloads in the U.S. alone. Her most recent single, “Stand By You,” is another empowering song that has become her second top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. This past year, Rachel has toured the world, performed on countless television shows and been played on radio stations across the country.

When: Saturday, June 25, 8:00pm

Where: The Walmart AMP in Rogers, Ark.

Presale: Tickets will be available to tournament volunteers and sponsors as a presale on April 5.

General Sale: Tickets to the general public will go on sale on April 6 at a discounted rate of $5 (lawn) and $10 (covered seat.) Tickets and more information found at www.arkansasmusicpavilion.com

History: Previous artists featured at the Walmart Community Concert include Huey Lewis and the News, Dierks Bentley and Colbie Caillat. As in previous years proceeds from the concert will benefit local charities.
