Assault On Lake Fayetteville Trail
The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating an assault on the Lake Fayetteville Trail.
At approximately 2:22 PM on Sunday 9/13, Fayetteville Police responded to a report of a female who had been assaulted while walking on the Lake Fayetteville Trail. The suspect is described as a white-male approximately 30 years old, with an average build and short hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a dark gray or black shirt and cargo shorts.
He was last seen walking westbound on the trail with a dark colored backpack.
