Board Launches Initiative to Position ACO for the Next 50 Years
The Arts Center of the Ozarks board is excited to announce the kickoff of an initiative to re-imagine the arts in Springdale. Across the region, the arts are evolving at an accelerating pace. We are committed to creating new opportunities for the arts to shape the local and regional community going forward.
The initiative will require some intentional changes in the operation of the ACO. The Board expresses their immense gratitude to Kathi and Harry Blundell as they retire after 40 years of sharing their passion for the arts in Springdale. Patrons will continue to participate in the 49th season and summer musical that will be managed by an interim staff and volunteers. The entire community can look forward to new and exciting opportunities to be added to the calendar in the summer and fall.
Our board has received immense support from the Springdale community. We continue to develop a strategic plan that builds on the energy of the downtown revitalization and positions ACO as an integral participant in the future. Through these changes, we will continue to serve YOU, our current patrons and sponsors, and will expand the influence of the arts in Springdale and its contribution to Northwest Arkansas.
