It is with great sadness that Fayetteville Springfest announces the passing of a beloved board member, Cineca Spring Keck.
Cineca Spring has been involved first hand with Fayetteville Springfest since 2012, but had fond memories of the event as a child with family members. It was those memories, combined with her love for all things music, that made her perfect in her role as Hospitality Director.
Working closely with co-organizers, Cineca helped create an environment for artists and volunteers that made the act of volunteering give you a “rock star” status.
From the green room, to the Easter egg hunt, to talent scouting with long time friend and business partner, Amanda Rey, Cineca insisted in being right in the middle of all of the plans. Her passion and fire for the event charmed everyone she spoke with and rallied support and effort from all types of community involvement.
Her yearly tribute to her brother through The Cody Thiess Memorial will continue to be thrown by close friends and family.
Fayetteville Springfest remembers all of our fallen brothers and sisters that have made the event what it was in the past. We dedicate this year’s event to them.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, 1401 W Hudson Rd.
Graveside services will take place at 10:30 am Thursday morning at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, 900 N Shiloh St. She will be buried close to her brother, Cody.
The “After Life After Party” to immediately follow at Hopping John’s Bistro in Fayetteville, 3290 N Lee Ave.
