NWA Rocks Teams With Local Music Podcast

Rockin’ Hog Media’s NWA Rocks Magazine, a music news and discovery website directed at savvy, passionate music fans and show-goers, with a particular focus on the music made and played in and around the Northwest Arkansas Region has teamed with local Podcaster Travis Smith and Beats By Travis.

The new BeatsByTravis Podcast features interesting and inspiring conversations with musical artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and more! The show is hosted by Travis Smith, a music promoter, talent buyer, and musician who has worked in almost every field of the live entertainment industry, and his co-host and bandmate, Chris G.

In addition to in-depth interviews, the show will offer music business insights, tips, and pointers from the hosts and guests who work in the featured field. The show looks to entertain those who enjoy exciting conversations and interesting stories about the music industry from a variety of guests.

The BeatsByTravis Podcast will be released every Monday, with special bonus content provided through various social media outlets. The show is brought to you by Rockin’ Hog Media’s NWA Rocks Music Magazine & Bandzoogle, and is on the Voice Press Network.

ABOUT TRAVIS SMITH:

Travis Smith was born and raised in Fayetteville, AR. He began playing music at the age of five, playing professionally at age of 15. As a teenager, Smith co-founded and toured with numerous Northwest Arkansas-based bands, including Thanks For Nothing and SilverStone, and continues to perform with several bands. In addition to performing, he is the talent buyer for Smoke and Barrel Tavern in Fayetteville, AR, Black Apple Crossing in Springdale, AR, as well as the Assistant Marketing Director at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR. Smith is co-owner of Shindig Music, an Arkansas state-wide music media company. Smith currently also hosts the George’s Live Podcast, the Shindigmusic Podcast, and the Shindig Music radio show on 104.9 The X.
