Pat Ryan Key To Release New CD “Guncle”

Pat Ryan Key is a vocalist, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Northwest Arkansas. A veteran of the NWA music scene, Pat is an eclectic artist with an unmatched stage presence with work rooted in rock, soul and blues.

With experience on the drums, electric & acoustic guitar, bass guitar and straight harp, Pat has been exposed to music throughout his life through the influence of his father, Bill Key; being schooled on artists such as JJ Cale, Government Mule, Morphine, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Black Sabbath to name a few.

In 2010, Pat formed the award-winning, alternative rock band, i do declare®. Through the course of three months, Pat wrote, recorded and performed the instrumentation and vocals at a home studio for what was to become “A Rebel’s Chance.” IDD quickly became a local favorite with regular airplay on local radio leading to secure a Northwest Arkansas Music Award for Best New Artist in 2012.

Late 2015, Pat released a new single and video for the song, “Them Bees,” the first single off of his upcoming solo debut EP, “Guncle.” The song has garnered subsequent airplay as well and has become a steady fixture on local radio. The album was recorded at East Hall Recording and features guest appearances by Abby McFarland, Ashley Reece, Rachel Turner, Travis Smith and Chris Moore. The bar is set higher, with this new effort recorded in a professional studio environment.
