REO Speedwagon Stirs Up 1000’s In NWA
(Rogers, Ark.) The Wal-Mart Music Pavilion was the place to be Tuesday night as Classic Rock Icons Chicago and REO Speedwagon performed to a packed house of fans of all ages.
Early evening storms postponed the gate time as 1000’s of fans waited to take their seats in the outdoor venue. The cooler wind made the time go by easily as temperatures rose to the high 80’s along with a matching Humidity level.
REO Speedwagon, all in their 60’s, kicked off the show that clearly confirmed to everyone that they were still the Rock Stars that they’ve always been as front man Kevin Cronin kicked it off with “Don’t Let Him Go” then continued with other mega hits, like “Take it on the Run”, before the encore. Cronin switched his position to the piano and proceeded to tell the story of taking the song of “Keep on Loving You” into the studio on just three chords from the piano.
REO Speedwagon showed no sign of slowing down. Check on other tour dates at www.reospeedwagon.com
Despite rain, heat and humidity, It was a great night and the crowd was more than pleased after such entertainment buy two of the most recognizable groups in the music industry.
