In the wake of AC/DC canceling tour dates due to singer Brian Johnson‘s hearing loss, a rumor has been spreading that the band will return to the road with Axl Rose filling in for Johnson.
Adding fuel to the fire: Ross Malcolm Young, the son of retired AC/DC guitarist, supposedly shared a link to the story on Facebook and wrote, “It’s true.” While that posting has apparently been taken down, screenshots do exist.
Asked for comment by ABC Radio, a rep for Guns N’ Roses would neither confirm nor deny the rumor.
Meanwhile, look out for an announcement coming very soon from the Guns N’ Roses camp regarding the reunited band’s plans.
