Ow, ow, ow, ow! ZZ Top‘s Dusty Hill dislocated his shoulder just before the band’s scheduled concert in Lubbock, Texas, Thursday night, forcing the Texas trio to postpone the show. A manager at the venue, the Lone Star Events Center, told NWA Rocks that the bearded bass player was injured while exiting the band’s tour bus and that he taken by ambulance to a local hospital to be treated.
A source at the venue’s official ticket seller, Ralph’s Records, tells ABC Radio the concert will be rescheduled sometime in late May. Meanwhile, ZZ Top also has postponed their next two concert appearances — a show tonight at the Firelake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and a performance on Saturday, April 16, at the Chilifest event in Snook, Texas.
