JUNE 22: The Uncrowned Kings
The coming together of four of Northwest Arkansas’ most prolific and long-running bands: Oreo Blue, Big Bad Bubba, Big’uns and the TJ Scarlett Band. These musicians have stripped themselves of their rightful places as leaders of their respective bands to form a musical collective whose whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The Uncrowned Kings are spearheaded by the region’s most powerful vocalist, Darren Ray on bass, scintillating guitar by TJ Scarlett, yeoman-like solid drums by Stephen Boudreaux, and masterful keyboards by Carl Thomas. Four-part vocals lie comfortably atop a veteran group of award-winning musicians. Able to cover a dizzying array of genres, The Uncrowned Kings are most suited to deliver high-energy polished rock and roll directly to your soul. The Uncrowned Kings cover the 1960’s through the 1980’s.
JULY 20: Dr. NOLA & the Soul Shakers
New Orleans influenced band that brings a fun and high energy live-show of originals and deep covers of blues, soul and funk. Their song selection includes tunes by Dr. John, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and St. Paul and the Broken Bones. The band consists of 2 vocalist, piano, drums, guitar, bass and sax.
AUGUST 10: Wattsit2ya
Wattsit2ya has been performing in Northwest Arkansas for over twenty years, playing their brand of “party rock and roll” in many of the hottest venues in the area. They also cover everything from blues to good two-steppin’ country. Unlike a lot of bands that try to cross genres, Wattsit2ya has combined their years of experience in all types of music to perform every song they play the way it was intended to be played.
All concerts are family and pet friendly! Music will begin around 7:30 and go to around 9:30. For more information or if you would like to get involved, please call us at 479-750-8185.
