Rocklahoma 2018 has come and gone. Another year on the books for America’s Loudest Weekend and Rockin’ Hog Media‘s NW Arkansas based Music Magazine, NWA Rocks was in the Media Tent talking it up with the artists.
We sent Ferg The Reporter out to brave the heat and catch up with some of the bands coming thru the Media Tent including the one and only Spider One, lead vocalist for Powerman 5000.
Powerman 5000 (sometimes abbreviated to PM5K) is an American rock band formed in 1991. The group has released nine albums, gaining its highest level of commercial success with 1999’s Tonight the Stars Revolt!, which reached number 29 on the Billboard 200 while spawning the singles “When Worlds Collide” and “Nobody’s Real”. The band’s latest release, New Wave, came out in 2017 on the Pavement Entertainment label, and the group is touring in support of the album. Frontman Spider One is the younger brother of fellow metal musician Rob Zombie.
